He was part of a core team that designed and implemented a comprehensive statutory compliance manual covering 40+ legislations across a multi-company group—significantly strengthening audit discipline and governance processes.

Mergers, Joint Ventures & Acquisitions
At TVS Automobile Solutions, Ram successfully concluded more than 25+ strategic transactions, including 15 acquisitions/JVs (with 4 international joint ventures) and 6 major fund-raise transactions involving domestic and foreign investors. As Group Company Secretary & Head – Legal, he worked closely with Boards, investors and strategic partners, overseeing deal structuring, due diligence, transaction documentation, regulatory approvals and post-acquisition integration.
At Orchid Pharma, he headed International Contracts, managed high-stakes Paragraph IV patent litigation, and played a key role in a multi-million-dollar business transfer of a manufacturing facility to a US-based multinational pharmaceutical company.

Startup Advisory
Ram actively advises early-stage and growth-stage startups on legal, secretarial and compliance matters, helping founders establish strong governance and investor-ready frameworks. His work includes entity formation, shareholder agreements, ESOP design and implementation, funding and investment documentation, cap table management, RBI/FDI compliance and due diligence preparation.
