Shipping experience embraces salvage, casualty investigation and charter party disputes.

After graduating in law from Cambridge University Jonathan qualified as a barrister, and later as a solicitor. He worked for ten years in the maritime insurance industry; ten years with a cross-border law firm in London and New York, in international trade and capital markets, before starting his own practice. He has wide commercial law experience and has worked alongside the Department for International Trade promoting British business in Brazil and vice versa. Jonathan has lived and worked in Chile, the USA and Brazil.

Languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish and basic French.
